Three "Crafted" Cardboard Theatre Dioramas

Three different themed dioramas set on a theatre stage in a children's arts and crafts style (cardboard, lollipop sticks, clay and string etc). Each scene was made to look unique from each other whilst staying true to the style, with the themes being space, ocean fantasy and medieval.

This work presented new methods and challenges involving texture creation as substance wasn't able to get me the crayon effect I wanted on top of cardboard. I opted to bake procedural cardboard textures onto the model and its UV map, then created a new diffuse map by painting overtop inside of the program black ink, which had a suitable crayon-style brush.
